This biking tour starts from the village of Cabanaconde and we take the bike uphill from 3, 300 m to 4, 350 m. We use Cabanaconde as basecamp and you can stay at our Hostel Pachamama for the night and get 15% disccount. Mucurca Lake offers the best views of the volcanoes of Hualca-Hualca, Sabankaya (smoking at the moment) and Ampato. The bike ride from Mucurca to Cabanaconde is downhill and it is a combination of dirt and paved route and we know you will have a great experience.

We depart from Pachamama Hostel at 06:00 am towards Mucurca Lagoon. The best breakfast with the best view of Mucurca will be served in Mucurca Lagoon. We will spend 1 hr 30 m in the Lagoon. After we have seen the volcanoes and the Lagoon, then we continue with the bike tour, but mountain bikes will be provided after 20 minutes ride from the Lagoon where it is start downhill and it will be easier for you. The Downhill will take us 2 hrs and we just enjoy from the best views of Colca Canyon.

We Need a 4X4 to reach the Lagoon
We have our 4x4 car that will take us safe to Mucurca Lagoon and it will take our bikes.

Pachamama Bikes
Our bikes are all in good condition they are equipped with good Disk Brakes Shimano, Good Helmets and we always bring a kit for fixing. We also have Sizes of Small - Medium and Large.

Conditions of the Route
The Biking from Mucurca to the Pavement route is approx. 20m dirt route and from the pavement route to Cabanaconde is on a pavement route for about 1hr 30m.

In order to ensure an organized tour after you have confirmed you have three options of payment:

▸ Payment Via Paypal. We send you an invoice for a deposit. The rest is paid in Cabanaconde - Pachamama.

▸ You can also make a transfer via Wester Union for a deposit.

▸ Payment can also be made via Transfer to our Peruvian Bank which it may takes from 4 to 7 days

▸ 30 – 6 Days prior to the start of your arrangement 40% of total amount. You can move the date.

▸ 3 Days prior to the start of your arrangement 100 % of total amount. You can move the date.

▸ 2 – 0 Day of departure or no-show – 100% of total amount.
