Do not miss this tour if you are in Cabanaconde. The Geyser of Pinchollo is a less visited tourist atrraction, 30km from the village of Cabanaconde, and we offer you a unique visit with a great view of back of Hualca-Hualca extinted volcanoe. We combine this tour with Cruz del Condor and it takes a half day.

Geyser of Pinchollo - Infiernillo

This geyser is located an altitude of 4, 300m. Approx 30km from the village of Cabanaconde and 12km from the village of Pinchollo. The Geyser is found at the back Hualca Hualca Volcanoe, next to a streamlet. This Geyser is always active and it is recommended to see it early in the morning from 7am to 9am, the water of the streamlet increases and covers the geyser at 10am. In the geyser of Pinchollo is found lot of colors and they are all minerals, specially sulphates. There are also lot of species of andean plants and endemic birds. I, personally, enjoy doing this tour with our 4x4 car.

  Bike Downhill Geyser - Cruz del Condor - Cabanaconde

  This tour begins from Cabanaconde. You can stay at our Hostel Pachamama. You can take local buses to Cabanaconde or you can arrange with us Tourist bus from Arequipa to Cabanaconde. By staying in Cabanaconde on day 1 it will help you to acclimatize to fo the tour without any problems.

  We depart from Pachamama Hostel at 06:30 am towards the Geyser of Pinchollo which it takes us 40 minutes. We will stay in the Geyser for about 40 minutes with a short walk. We get ready the bikes and start biking all the way to the pavement route of Pinchollo which it is 9km. This part of the bike is nice and we bike on a empty dirt road. We load the bikes to Cruz del Condor. Stay at the viewpoint for about 1hrs and you continue biking downhill to Cabanaconde which it is 16km, on this part you will be biking on your own and you can enjoy from the views.

  Conditions of the Route
  The Biking downhill from geyser to the main road of Pinchollo is dirt road and it is in good condition and it will takes 40 minutes. From Pinchollo to Cruz del Condor we load the bikes in the Car.
