Colca Canyon Trek 2 Days and 1 Night

You love hiking and you only have 2 days to explore Colca Canyon. It is possible but it is something I would not recommend you. The following itinerary will help you to decide to trek in that amount of time. You must be already adapted to altitude and be in GOOD conditions, as in 2 days trek is intense. After the 2 days trek you can also continue to Puno from Colca with the Bus Cabanaconde to Puno.

Colca Canyon Difficulty

If you are thinking to Trek Colca Canyon in 2 days I guess you are in good condition, otherwise do not dare to trek or you will have a terrible experience. This tour should be done in 3 days or much better if you have 4 days. The trekking Tour starts at 03:00 am and you will make a long journey to reach Cruz del Condor and Cabanaconde where the trek starts, by 9am you will start the hike going down to San Juan de Chuccho, lunch time and continue to Sangalle and stay the night. Next Day you will start climbing from Sangalle to Cabanaconde at 04:30 am in order to reach the bus back to Arequipa. All this itinerary is intense. But it is possible to do the trek.

For 2 Days Tour in Colca Canyon I would recommend you the Classic Tour Colca.

There are many options to Explore Colca Canyon and trekking is the best experience since you are involves in the nature of Colca Canyon and you will explore places that only trekking offers. To enjoy your visit in Colca Canyon and do a trekking I would recommend you at least 3 days.

Most of the Treks starts at the village of Cabanaconde, you can stay at our Hostel Pachamama and begin your trip on the next day.

Itinerary

1st Day

Arequipa - Cruz del Condor - San Juan de Chuccho - Sangalle

Tour starts at 03:00 am, we pick you up at your hotel. We continue with the minivan towards Cruz del Condor, see Condors for 40 minutes and head to San Miguel Viewpoint where we willl begin going downhill. It takes us 3 hrs to get to the bottom of the Canyon. We continue to San Juan de Chuccho and have lunch, after a short break we keep on gradually uphillto Cohsnirwa and Malata and the downhill to Sangalle. We have din ner and stay at one of the bungalows.

2nd Day

Sangalle - Cabanaconde - Arequipa
(3hrs 30m Trek)
(bus ride 6 hrs)

▹	Depart early from Sangalle aprox. 5am. We climb for about 3 hrs. You can also ride a Mule for an extra.
▹	Breakfast at Pachamama - Hot Shower
▹	9am we continue with the Tourist Bus Cabanaconde to Arequipa. You will see the most classic views of Colca. Arrival to Aqp at 5pm.
▹	Or You can also continue your trip to Puno Tourist Bus Cabanaconde to Puno. You will see the most of the landscape on the way to Puno. Arrival to Puno at 7pm

In order to ensure an organized tour after you have confirmed you have three options of payment:

▸ Payment Via Paypal. We send you an invoice for a deposit. The rest is paid in Cabanaconde - Pachamama.

▸ You can also make a transfer via Wester Union for a deposit.

▸ Payment can also be made via Transfer to our Peruvian Bank which it may takes from 4 to 7 days

▸ 3 Days prior to the start of your arrangement 100 % of total amount. You can move the date.

▸ 2 – 0 Day of departure or no-show – 100% of total amount.
